Hey guys, My buddy and I are avid bass anglers from the San Jose area, and we typically fish all the Santa Clara County reservoirs, and also Del Valle, Discovery Bay/Delta, etc. We're planning a trip up to Lake Berryessa for the first time, and we'd love anybody to chime in with any advice, location...

For my braid-to-fluorocarbon applications, I typically only use the Albright knot. Compared to some other knots, I got it down easier. In a couple attempts I was able to tie it correctly. I found it to be one of the smallest braid-to-fluoro knots, and it's incredible how strong it is. As far as havi...

Sounds like you got the right idea! Either of those lakes is where I'd be heading. I'd probably lean towards Bullards Bar. The water can be decently clear there at times, I just hope the water doesn't look resemble chocolate milk from all the rain. I would assume the water temps are in the mid 50's ...
