Garmin Panoptix PS-22-TR in the box

Hey guys cleaning out my equipment and found an extra Panoptix Transducer Garmin sent me. It’s still in the box, I have all the paperwork from Garmin. Never made it out of the box. Listed price was $999.99, I’ll sell it for $600 plus shipping. This is not a Live Scope transducer. It’s the LiveVu, no...

That post is nonsense and you know it Mark. We can't go by data from 25 years ago. We are currently dealing with "manmade climate change". The state is going to dry up and burn away long before it ever floods again (that is if we don't all die from covid first). I’m almost wishing I...

Re: Folsom Dumping Water?

They said they were making room for storms later in the season. It's sitting at 60% right now and they claim average storage is around 40%. They may dump another 200,000 acre feet of water before they shut the gates. After missing the mark every year you would think they would allow it to approach ...

Folsom Dumping Water?

While at work last night I noticed gates on Lake Natomas where dumping quite a bit more water than I’ve seen in a while. Check the flows and Folsom Lake level has dropped when every lake in the region is rising. The flows more than doubled overnight on the American. Hopefully these water clowns aren...

Folsom is tiny. There may be a lot of members but it is low key. I joined this year. So far we have had no more than 15 or so boats. Great thing is we also fish a different lake every month. I might look into Folsom also. My son isn’t fishing tournaments anymore and I’m not at a place where I can g...

Shouldn't we be pissed at developers who build in fire prone areas? It's not like they didn't see the trees. Is this a serious statement? It’s California. Every area is pretty much prone in one way or another. It’s not really a developers deal, it’s a government issue of taking money for building p...

Read the fine print on the Fair Plan. Before we moved we were forced to have it after the King Fire. Fine print said only 45% of the structures building expenses. So we pay full price and they only return 45% with contents insured either. My friend was just able to get State Farm and AAA to give the...

California could care less about recreation of lakes. They are a water supply tool and if up to them fishing wouldn’t be allowed on most of the waterways. Just coming back from Tennessee every stick of water is fishable and is very welcoming to do so. All this rain and some of the reservoirs are sti...

Re: Deep cranking with a Dobyns Swimbait rod?

Although this might be better served in the general fishing section I would likely use the 795 when throwing big plugs like 10XD, DD90 and C25’s, but feel like even the 795 might be to much for 6XD. It does have a tip that is lighter to keep fish pinned with treble hooks. It’s deep in my line up for...
