Re: I almost slipped yesterday....

Larry, I know how tough it was to put down Cinder. Two years ago, I had to put down Bambi (dog) and Goldie (cat) in a one month period. I'm in my mid-50's and cried like a baby both times. My wife and I said that we won't get another dog for a long time, but 2 months after putting down Bambi, we got...

Single Filament Line

Chris, I think that the correct term that you should be using is "single filament" line to refer to either monofilament or flourocarbon line. Almost all of us fishermen who fish on a regular basis make it clear to other fisherman what type line that we use -- for most of us, it's either mo...

The only time I use braided line is throwing a frog. For all other applications, I use P-line flouroclear.

Sizmic Toad

There are many frogs on the market so you'll probably get a lot of different opinions. For now, I've been throwing a 4 inch white Sizmic toad and have had pretty good success with it. I like it because the design of the legs gives it more action as I'm retrieving it. My best bass on it is a 6 lber. ...

I use Anytime Organizer. Besides the calendar feature, I use the address feature to keep all my addresses. It cost about $30.

Both features offer the ability to make notes. You can also color code your dates and/or addresses into groups.

The software also has nice print options.

You can cook it Chinese style as a whole fish. After cleaning the fish, place the whole fish into a dish that you can place into a pan for steaming.
