Muck or bogs. You can step into the lake to hook up the boat and still be dry. I like leather and gore tex too but they absorb water on the outside and will get cold.

That exact thing happened to me. But, my boat still ran. If the gears are locked up the engine won't turn. You can remove the lower unit to see if the motor will turn. I would bet it is fine. Unfortunately they can't fix the lower unit with a hole in it. Atleast as far as I know. You can try to find...

What works for me is never wear anything with cotton if it might rain. Fleece gets wet,but not too cold. Try neoprene muck type boots.

Can I replace a 332 with a 520 using the same wires? I was told it would work if I got an adapter cable. The 520 is using a 3000 gps antenna and I have a 2000.

I moved my lcx17 from one boat to another and it powered up then the screen went blank. It would not power up again. I plugged the front graph in to check the power at the console and it powered up. Did this unit die or is there a reset or fuse in the unit ? Is there anything I can try ?
