Lure Bracket
Years ago a fellow on here was making brackets to mount in your lure or rod locker that held spinnerbaits and jigs. They worked great but does anyone know who he was and does he still make them?

This is one reason that anyone that hunts or shoots should belong to the California Rifle and Pistol Assn. I won't go into how screwed up the NRA is right now but CRPS is working for the sportsmen and women of California so join, numbers count

This is an example for what I have been saying for years. The CDFW is a political organization. The commission is appointed by the governor where in other states it is run by professionals not politically appointees. This is in no way knocking the Biologists or the Wardens as I think they try to do ...

Re: Who fished over the Holiday weekend?
Daughter Sandi came up as I live in Lakeport. We fished Saturday and Sunday and it was a zoo. Saturday we had a good day with around 15 in boat drop shotting north end with the best a 6.4 on a puff ball jig. Trying to get out of the water at 5th street was impossible so finally lucked out at third s...

This is a longshot but here goes. Some years back a fellow made a set of jigs that the rubber (I think) flared out. Sitting in the water they kept moving around. First I want to say I thought the weigh in went very fast and efficient. Why don't they use a release boat? Doesn't cost that much and less strain on the fish and saves the fishermen from having to go out and then return.

Re: Clear Lake Fish Die Off This Weekend
Not really. The pellets don't target a large area like spraying does, but that's beside the point. No Hydrilla has be discovered this year so no pellets or spraying has happened. The State runs the Hydrilla abatement program and Lake County really doesn't have anything to say what the state does. So...

Re: Clear Lake Fish Die Off This Weekend
Lets cut the BS, There has been no spraying and I don't care who the know it all's say there has been. The air boats are not spraying they are looking for Hydrilla. The reason they are throwing hooks is to see if they can snag anything that looks like it so it can be treated with PELETS at the spot....

The average weight of fish caught in this tournament was an astounding 5.21 lbs. No other lake or body of water in the US even comes close to this average for a 40 boat tournament.
