How often should you buy new scents/attractants? Do they break down over time? Stored in the boat, they get a lot of heat exposer in the garage. Pro Cure, Smelly Jelly, Bang, ect. Just wandering when/if I should buy new stuff?
Thanks,
Mike
Shelf life of scents/attractants?
Shelf life of scents/attractants?
I know you are but what am I?
Re: Shelf life of scents/attractants?
I make my own stink bait everyday, so I know those are good (everyone likes their own brand).
I do know that I have had to clean my Bang nozzle after sitting for a while. It still has good pressure and smells fishy so I assume its good.

Your brand does stink. I can almost smell you from here.

I would use it, and not worry.
However, if it bugging you it will affect your fishing and confidence with the big girls.
If you think it matters or affects the fishing, it does.
If that is the case, then get some new scents, hand off your others to a bait dunker, and get on with the fishing!

(My Bang nozzle still shoots a long ways, and in sufficient/excessive volume.)
