Shimano CI4 handle question

Not a huge fan of the new CI4 handle. Used to the paddle style sustain and stradic handles. Are the sustain handles compatible with the CI4?

The Sustain 2500FE or Stradic 2500FI handle will bolt right on. I'm not sure if the knob will bolt directly onto the handle shaft. The post may be a little longer on the CI4 model. I do not have a CI4 here to check right now.
