Shimano Stradic c14 2500 model Disco?

Is it true that the Shimano Stradic Ci4+ Spinning Reel has been discontinued? I went to order some and was told they have been discontinued and the replacement is the Vanford!
Anyone have one of these reels? Likes dislikes?

Yes. It was replaced by the Vanford which has the carbon body of the CI4 and the taller spool and smooth gearing of the FL.

Does the new Vanford have an anti-reverse switch?
