Short Day

Fished this morning until 11:00 a.m. when I had boat trouble. Started in big break, missed on on topwater(swirled and did not come back). Moved outside big break and spooned some small non-keeper fish and one about 4-5 lbs. Moved to the Sacramento River. Stopped at the antioch bridge on my way. Caught some 12-14 inch stripers on spoons and shim jigs. Tide was moving fast, wanted to go back later when the tide slowed to try for some larger fish. Anyway, went to the Sac. River. Fished traps and shim jigs for one 13 lb. striper, one 7 lb. and 4 fish 3-5 lbs. Limped in at 11:00.
