I have 2. I really like the crankin rod and the other is great for the delta and Clear Lake(jig/worm).
Fishing should be fun.

I have two heavy for punching, swimbaits or flipping. Also have two cranking rods, they all work very well, plus they're very resonable. Just my 2 cents.

We just got ours in at Delta Outdoors. They are seem great for 90 bucks. A little tip heavy on the longer rods, but that could be fixed with a little weight on the butt. The actions are great too. Only downside for me is no over the counter warranties :( Oh yeah, btw we are located on 1625 Main Street in Oakley. 925-234-4694

Does the yellow clash with those little camo shorts you used to run around in?

Are the 8' rods telescopic? If not, it must be hard getting them into the boat locker..

Fisherman's Warehouse has an over the counter warranty program in which it costs the customer $15. This applies for the new Skeet Reese Rods.

Note: Not all over the counter warranties are $15.

For anyone with the 8 foot rod, do you have a problem with braid getting caught in the tip when pitching? Mine seems to do it on nearly every pitch. As I bring the lure back toward the reel to get ready to pitch, the line gets stuck up there and completely screws up the aim. I emailed to Skeet's site and his PR guy said they are aware of it and may be offering new rods once they get a line on a new tip supplier. I'll probably just live with it but was wondering if anyone else has the issue. Good rod other than that!

I have the 8' Flipping / Pitching Rod. I broke it in with four days at Clear Lake. Awesome rod as long as your using mono. Braid constantly wraps around the tip, I had to switch to a reel with mono. Great feel, lightweight, and great price.

couple notes on Ronny Rods......

first..... The spinning rods guides are WAY to small. Any line over 8lbs you will loose about a quarter of the cast.

Second the hook placement on the Dropshot rod is backwards.

Third the action on the dropshot rod is for nose hooking....

But I love the rods, I think they are VERY well put together. Best Rod for the money hands down. He'd sell alot more rods if they were a different color.....

I think the next batch will be a different color.maybe mostly black with a yellow handle section or mid part of the blank.he probably just wanted to be flashy for the the first installment.

I'm going to run down to tackle it soon and check them out. I saw some yellow things sticking up in the window there the other day.
