Wow, Bass Pro is seriously closing in on cornering the market! Now all we need is to get rid of Covid19 so we can bring in more tackle to these stores. This will be interesting to watch.

Nothing interesting about this acquisition. It's a monopoly, plain and simple. This is now a corporation that controls many, many brands and dictates prices and the quality of products. My first experience with Bass Pro Shops was almost 30 years ago. Great store in Springfield, very good prices and selection. Today, still a fun store to visit, but the feel is different. In corporate America, the bottom line much more important than the customer. For those of you who find this corporation to your liking, that's okay. I'm from the older generation and have seen so many good things go bad. It's really sad for me. I remember store loyalty and great service.
