My bowroller on the Champ was biting the dust. I kept carrying the replacement, but if the boat went on, I never did change it. Today, the old one that came with the trailer split neatly in two, and the remove and replace became something that could no longer be procrastinated with.
It looked uglier than sin, but the boat winched right up! Forget powerloading, or be damn careful if you do. It winched right up with hardly any effort at all. If you are sick of a big effort trying to winch it up, after a long day give it a shot. The Stoltz bow roller is the one that is yellow, and has outside rollers to help center things. It was amazing how easily the boat climbed right up.
So far, it gets two thumbs up!
