Stradic 3000 MgFb knob?

I would like to change the knob on my 3000 because it is too big for me. Will the handle from a 2500 Stradic FI or MgFb fit the 3000? Also can I just replace knob or do I need the whole handle assembly?

You will have to replace the entire handle. The post for the knob on the 3000 handle is longer and will not accept the shorter 2500 size knob.
