Strike Cam - Lake Powell Video *NEW*

Post by TJD »

Hi everyone,

As an expression of gratitude to the WB forum viewers for the great feedback received on our Delta Video, below is a pre-released private link of our recent Strike Cam film session at Lake Powell. The stripers were boiling as you'll see... ready to chew... and not camera shy.

Enjoy the video and look for the Strike Cam website to be online in the next few days. At the website you'll be treated to some exceptional clear water video from our March trip to Lake Havasu. And as always, your comments and feedback are much appreciated.

Thanks again - Tim.

That is really amazing.
Would it work with jig, or a T rigged worm?

Good question regarding other baits like jigs and worms. Slow moving/sinking baits provide an additional filming challenge in that its more difficult to keep the lure in the cameras field of view. Also with slow baits the fish have more time to inspect the camera and may reject the bait. That said, we're currently working with various forms of buoyancy to control camera sink rate, pitch angle, etc. for this very application.

For a heavier bottom bouncing bait, the camera works well now... so a jig is a possibility. I would really like to get a Senko video out soon :).

BTW - our website is complete and in quality testing. Should be released in a day or so.

Thanks again,

Tim
