sounds awesome, i was out at east Franks fishing the incoming, but, not much for anyone going on, only a few shakers, tried Mildred, nothing---- looks like the schools are in the north end chasing bait- were the birds working the shad? thanks for your post

Sat. Nov. 8, 2008. Action for me and another buddy was excellent. All topwater up to 30 lbs.. Maybe 15-20 fish over 10 lbs. in less than 4 hours. Can't wait for next week and the full moon. Glad I got the extra strong ocean hooks. Dying for one of the New Rattlin' Punkers......In bone white Jeremy cause we both know that color doesn't work.

Watching the birds is a dead giveaway right now. You don't even have to see the dive bombing. If they are swarming or hovering an area, the shad are there and the stripers right with em! I have also seen this week when the stripers pin the shad right on the banks, you'll see the various long necks flocking to the rocks edge to pick up the pieces! So if'n yer in an area that has a lot of the Herrings on the bank, that's a key sign too, the shad are they and the stripers close by!

Ps. They is called "TERNs" Rich! We heave two varieties here, The Common White Tern and the Royal Tern!
