dam gator ... That is some yough trout fishing. It looks like a trout lure. I bet that one costs more than my emergency room visit this year. I had a hook go through my finger and that was a costly 1 hour visit.
I hope the guy didn't loose his eyesite. I also hope he caught the fish.

OW!!!!

For those just tuning in, Jim's original post contained no graphics (take a look at Gary's post with the "quote" from Jim's first attempt) and that's why perhaps none of the alleged humor makes sense! (Not that it does anyway!)

Yes I did. I had a hook from a Vixen go into my finger and wrap around the muscle. I had my daughter on the boat and she was scared to push it through. She cut it after twisting it into the muscle so I had to go get it removed. I caught that dam striper and made fish taco's with it later that night.

I have been fishing for many many years and I have never gotten a hook stuck pass the barb anywhere, But a few months ago Jeremy and I were prefishing for a FPT tornament on the Delta and we were fishing across from Cruiser Haven anyway I see this guy headed our way he was standing on the front deck of his boat holding his finger/the lure. He had started to take a little fish off his super spook and the fish went crazy and barried the big treble in this guys finger so he ask if I can help him pull it out.

Talk about TOUGH this guy pushes this big treble all the way thru the middle of his finger barb and all then I get my lucky walmart needle nose pliers  you know the ones with a small line cutter in em. anyway I cut the point /barb off and he pulls it right thru puts a band aid on it and after a few thanks he was fishing again.

Man if you read this or post on this fourm that was intense stuff! You are one tough dude!Sorry I am terrible wih names I never forget a face but unless you hear me say your name more then 5 times forget it, my wife says I suffer from "C-R-S" :D

I'm a firm believer in safety , sunglasses of good quality should always be worn when fishing I believe too much can happen and come your way , landing tools like boga grips (the best) protect the hands from trebles the worst... bad news landing a fish with a mouth full of treble hooks I don't like nets, besides that , its still risky business ,pulling treble hooks from a wiggling fish gettin' stuck is no joke......A great day on the water can go bad quick.. don't get stuck...stick them don't let u'm stick you .......but shtuff happens................be prepared.
