Sudays No Fee Tourney at Kelsey Bass Ranch!

I am posting to tell all of you guys that came out yesterday and helped out with the fund raiser outing at Kelsey a big thank you. We had nineteen boats that showed and a bunch of kids that could not stop smiling when it was over. You guys are exactly what fishing is all about and probably changed a young mans life. You helped get a few kids really energized about fishing and the future of the sport. Thanks again; george

And since my boat was down, thanks fer hooking me up with Diego and lil Dimi, we had a ball! And although we didn't catch any of the bruisers this pond is noted for, it was obvious from the very beginning that they had never seen a 301 or 320 Yamamoto Kreature before! And that hootin and hollarin thing ya had the kids do after every fish, that was fun, prolly cost my kid first place and I know he was horse by 8:05! HAR! That dog gone pond is so small, didn't take folks long ta migrate to where all the fish were! Good thing about that was, everyone got in on the catching of those ganged up post spawners, and them sponsors all got stung havin ta pay for limits accros the board! LOL

What a fun time for us older kids as well!! Had a big grin on my face all the way home too. This is what its all about - giving something back to the sport you love. If you missed this one, sign up for the Pro-Teen, you won't regret it.

James was a really good stick, and a pretty cool kid (need to get him up to the Pro Teen event if at all possible). We caught lots of fish, had some fun with Cooch, Diego, & Dimi, & learned a little bit about post spawn patterns. I hope James had as much fun as I did.

One of my best days ever on the water! Like I told you after the tourney put my name on the list permanantly and just tell me when and where to show up. You did a great thing George for alot of great kids. Kelsey is more than a pond to me-it is an awesome place and it couldnt have been any better anywhere else! Thanks for the oppurtunity to participate ! Tight Lines!!!
