Survey of Bass Boat Insurance?

Post by Bill Roberts »

Good-morning!

I would like to know who you use for your Bass Boat Insurance and why?
This is for tournament fisherman only!

Thx Bill

I just switched to Fish On Insurance through Westmar Marine. Made the switch, very competitive price wise and I thought they provided more coverage in return. Plus, I thought it was nice dealing with a fairly local company being in Stockton.

Made me feel even more comfortable since I signed up a few weeks before the ISE show and talked to the girls there at the booth and Maria remembered me after talking to me only once before..........great experiences so far.

1800bassboat, been with Stan and Ken forever. Extremely fair price for me with standard coverage, the guiding coverage and providing me the Surety Bond I need. I've never had any problems they couldn't assist me with, my statements are timely, the few times over the years where I've had to actually use that insurance and put in a claim, it was done expediantly, no hassles and best of all, no rise in my coverage costs because of the claim. The Vandenburgs are awesome, have never given me a reason to look eslwhere and every reason to stick with em! Over the 15-20 years I've been with them, we've spent more time talking fishing and very lil time talking insurance!

I use USSA for all of my insurance to include my boat. I had to pay few dollars more because of tournament fishing. The only problem with USSA is you have to been in the military to get it.

I was insured by this company( Wesmar) i highly reccomend you get out of there greedy clutches. I had anissure with them i ended up paying 100% of a claim that, without my approval my boat was fixed @ C&C Marine. the insurance company approved the repair. i knew nothing of the approval. I received a call from C&C to pick up my boat it's done i said who approved the repair, he told me the insurance company did. there adjustor approved the work then when it came down to paying for it. they came up with some lame excuse about the boat was to old. they were going to Pro rate it. bacially i got stuck in the shorts with the whoole bill.

I am back with Ken Vandenburg. down south thank you guys they are great no games! they tell you up front! plus they both fish. never had a problem. with these gentlemen. very honest and upfront with everything.

Cant say it better, I shopped around and Ken told me just make sure you are comparing an apples to apples policy - it turns out some of the other "apples" had some worms in them. I went with 1800BassBoats and they have taken care of me and have had me quickly out on the water. EVEN IF YOU DONT CHOOSE THEM CALL THEM - talk to Ken or Stan ask questions they are strait shooters and will tell you some of the questions to ask to vet the other agencies.

I went with 1800bassboat and have been happy with them so far. Awesome people to deal with and their prices are competative.

I've been with Westmar (Fish On) since 2000. Have had two major lower unit claims with them and both times, got taken care of quickly and back on the tournament scene with no problems. They bass fish and know what coverage we need as bass anglers with our expensive boats and equipment. No complaints here.

1-800-bass-boat. Absolutely the best out there IMHO!
Probably why everyone attempts to be like them? Stan and Ken both GET IT, if you know what I mean, adn I've been with them since 95'. Like Cooch said, I too have never had a reason to look elsewhere!
