swimbait hook sizes

i am fairly new to bass fishing but i now a little...one of the things i dont know is how to match weighted hooks to swim baits

for example what size hood would i use for a 3/4oz-6" swimbait ????

any informaton is greatly appretiated

well it would all depend on what type of swimbait you are fishing. are you looking at a Paddle Tail/Hollow body swimbait, hard bait or solid bait.

Weighted hooks on a paddle tail bait like a Yum Money Minnow or Basstrix all depends on the depth you want to fish. I generally use a fairly like weight 1/4 or so for fishing the baits over the shallow grass or sticks. Deeper you want the more weight to use.

well im really talkin about the weed slinger swimbaits by blackdog baits....im not 100% sure if there hollow body but im pretty

I believe they are like the mission fish and weighted.
So I'm sure a 6/0 EWG would do it.
