Swimbait rods

Post by firecap »

Is there any swimbait rod available that you can use for all sizes of baits? Also, what makes a good swimbait rod. Line size and type, etc.

^^that is the best site for swimbaits. but just get a rogue 807c and youll be happy that is the only one you need. well maybe a smaller one too for smaller baits. that with a calcutta 300 with 65lb powerpro and you'll be set

I too must say that Beach can build you a very good swim bait rod. He built one for me that is much nicer to use than any that I have tried. I don't think just one will do the trick though. So I'm gonna have him build me one for 4 or 5" baits up to say 2 1/2 oz.

Wait for the Mike Long Signature Powell Rod. It will definitely be worth it.
