@Jiggin
We never find trophy largemouth "boring" regardless of where they are caught... so here are our top 5 reasons we find the Sharelunker catches interesting...
#1 Big largemouth deserve a look wherever they are caught. Cali, Texas, Japan... wherever.
#2 We are not so full of ourselves as anglers that we think "we're the only ones" whos big fish are post-worthy.
#3 The accomplishment of a double-digit bass, trophy bass... tweeners, teeners caught by anyone are accomplishments to be congratulated - especially to the next generation of anglers. The excitement of such a feat has eluded many of their whole fishing life.
#4 We could only hope that the western states, especially California had a program like the Sharelunker program and sharing the news about it helps promote the idea, the thought, the benefits of what could be and maybe someday it will come to fruition. In the state of things today, not a big probability; but you never know and we can always hope.
#5 While fisheries such as Clear Lake are bucket list destinations for anglers in other states, Sharelunker lakes are often bucket list destinations for western anglers.
