Telescopic Swimbait rod?
Does anyone make an 8' telescopic Swimbait rod? would it even matter if the rod is a two piece? The way the fish smack the bait it doesn't seam it would matter if its a one piece or two piece. Opinions?

Many people have used flipping sticks, but the action isn't as good as a one piece.

Kistler makes a 7'11" telescopic rod I use to toss small and medium swimbaits. Its the same rod Steve Kennedy used on Clear Lake to set the big sack record this season. Its great for flipping too. Model is He2HC711T. I think its the lightest most balanced flipping rod I've ever used.

Tony! You have to get out more. ha ha j/k
Most flippin rods are too parabolic.

Get whatever rod you can afford...and get out there and throw, throw and throw some more...once you get your first fish you will upgrade and make sure to get all the baits...huddleston. 3:16, BBZ, Rago and all the others...

Mark at Performance Tackle (Los Alamitos) makes a great telescopic swimbait rod. I was very leary at first, but it turned out to be a great choice.

I have a few of marks swimbaits rods too, just not the telescopic. I hate the whole telescopic concept..i have no faith in it. I prefer a normal rod. They only way i might consider would be for storage but i just leave my big biat rods on the deck..the beauty of a snap swivel...unhook your bait of choice so no roaming eyes see it and leave the rod out. We all know had bad the "sight fishermen" are getting.
Create your own luck.
