I just wanted to thank tbob and the rest of WONBASS for sending me out the big fish money, rather than making me wait for the insurance company. You guys are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they take care of you soon.

Thank You WONBASS $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Re: Thank You WONBASS $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Thanks Guyle! I hope you have as much fun spending the $10,000 as we did seeing someone win it. We are doing the same promotion again at Havasu a week from this Friday. You should come on down and do it again. There is a decent chance someone might the way fishing is out there lately.

Unfortunately I have an HBC tournament on March 19, But I would think it's worth your entry fee just to try and catch the Havasu record. $10,000 for less than a 9 pounder!!!!!!!!!!!!! Easy Money

Re: Thank You WONBASS $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Whats unfortunate about fishing the HBC compared to the Won on Havasu? Just ask KB about winning 10,000 on a 4 lbr. You may just have another check with your name on it and you might not have to catch a 14 lbr. Dont be upset that you have to fish HBC. IF you win it you leave the lake with the Check.
Hey Guyle good luck this weekend on DVL see ya later this week.
never give up, be possitive and patient, and you will be rewarded
Re: Thank You WONBASS $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Harvey Naslund and I had a brief meeting yesterday and we were talking about how all the big bass fishermen and lures have sort of changed the game, and the odds of breaking these WON BASS records is probably really good.
Billy Egan is a new employee of ours who handles many of our other (non WON BASS) fishing events and he is fishing the HBC, so it's not the all out war many seem to think. It's just hard to avoid conflicts with every event on every lake. Good luck.
Havasu is going to be an amazing event with great spring weather and incredible fishing. And we are trying to rebuild the concept of fishing a circuit again, traveling, and doing all the things the pro's do nationally but on a regional basis. We've pushed many events back into the fall, reduce entry fees to fit the economic conditions ( for most people fishing is a net expense ), moved the US OPEN forward to follow the ASA trade show in Las Vegas, etc..
I'm sure you going to do well at the HBC, and we are sorry to put you in a position of having to make that choice. At this point of the season anyone who already fished up north and travels would also have a huge advantage in staying withing range of the AOY title. At our last Pro Am event of the year at Clear Lake we will have two fully rigged boats on the line, one for the AOY and one for the guy winning that event.
