Well Luke had an Idea, ..asked Mom and Jack about it.... Friday night when I got home Luke had the cost of what we would be out of for pre-purchsed birds and wanted to try to close that gap.
The three of them picked up the ball all on their own and ran with it like they were trying to trying to get first in line for the Rapture!
Friday night I got the guns out of the safe, their gear all packed and after BaseBall practice and Field Cleaning today- they headed out to Hastings for their own adventure.
I gotta say- I can not possibly be prouder of Luke, Jack and Kris...... Even more so was the reward of my wife saying tonight- "You should of seen how PROUD Luke was to hunt alone !" He handled Cobalt like a champ with verbal, arm and whistle commands- and Cobalt worked his heart out for them. :smiley_10sign:
I'll shut up now and just post some pictures- Kris took a ton of them !! :smiley-clappin-yellow:

Giving the Marshmellow some sugar.

Awesome Pic !!

They moved to another field and hit it again after a quick rest.

Kris got to see the nest that tey are builing as they will be laying eggs anyday now- and she was truly impressed !

Then Kris came across another nest- and could not hang anymore as she has a severe phobia of mice -- even when the 11 of them are still blind.

Heading back.

-- Luke missed 1 shot, Had his action open on two and forgot to close it before firing and passed on 1 because there was a truck 100 yards away. :smiley_10sign:
I am SOOO Proud of all of them today !! I can't wait till this August when Jack will be taking his Hunters Safety Course for next season !!
