The price of medicine

Post by Greg_Cornish »

Just priced out a new wheelchair. Tried to hang with the manual as long as I could, but the shoulders are pretty much gone.

The new chair I priced out is $28,000.00 retail. You can buy a new car hoist installed for $2,500.00

I could get a dang fine auto or truck for $28,000.00

Don't worry, mine is not paid by taxpayer's money.

Here's the great news. I'll be able to hunt better from it. However it won't be seeing any boat rides. The combined weight would be 500 lbs.

You da man! Still out hunting is a good thing. I bet you can figure out how to get into a boat now and then. Wish I lived closer as I run a Champ 206 that is like a freakin' barge and you could ride up front and catch the bugs before they hit me. :P

LOL. You tell me after the bugs are gone? I have a pontoon, but getting to and from is the hardest part. Can't raise my left (hook setting) arm more than 45 degrees. Pooor me.

I owned a private lake near the Phoenix airport for many years and I let the guys from "Fishing has no Boundaries" come down all the time and catch bass. They had a lot of tricky little rods and brackets and an adapted pontoon. It was amazing to watch those guys kick some fish butt. Good luck on your hunts.
