Well, thanks to "Never Satisfied", we teamed up for Windy Wednesday Nighter (whatever happened to the bearded ones reports?) while my appointment for the boat was the next day. Things were beginning to look up until a six incher decided he'd had enough and embedded a treble hook deep into my left hand ring finger (here we go again). Once removed a little toilet paper and electrical tape did the trick to stop the bleeding and a fishing we did go. Not near enough to weight in so dump we did. Now this was my wifes birthday and it was with her permission I got to go. ( a string of pearls works every time

Now to the boat. All checked out fine. I was told to run the boat and motor so went with the wife to the delta. All seems well. Glad there was no damage. Maybe the bad luck worm is starting to turn. Special thanks to Greg at Gone Fishing Marine for squeezing me in and getting me out of there in about an hour. All told the lady who hit me will be into it for about $150.00. Gas and inspection.
