thoughts of braided line with leaders

Post by set_the_hook »

Hey folks this is my first post, im here on the east coast with cabin fever and no sight of open water for quite sometime. Meanwhile im sorting through gear and antisipating getting ready for the season. As far as line goes Im thinking on using most of my setups (especially worm, jig and flipping rods) with braided line and using an appropriate leader. Im just wondering what most of you guys do out there on the West Coast.

With the exception of topwater where I use all braid and my crank/spinnerbait setups whic are all fluoro I have evrything spooled with braid and then add a leader if/as needed. That makes my gear versatile for any body of water. Connect the leader to braid with uni uni knot.
