One of the best winter time baits to use are
3/4oz. arkie head jigs with light wire 6/0 mustad black nickel hooks and 18 fiber fiberguard with 7 1/2 inch skirts Uncle josh Big daddy pork or Big twin tail grubs been using this style of jig since mid 70's You can't go wrong with this big profile bait.

I got to check out that new Berkley Stunna Jerkbait looks killer and I appreciate a slight slow falling jerk. I agree with Evan across the board - Jerkbait, Jig with a MaxScent Power Chunk, swim bait and drop shot with a Max Scent Hit Worm or Flat Tail shad is my 'Go To' line up winter - early spring.
