Re: Top Stick Joes
Im pretty descent at following directions and all but its still a little bit unclear. Im signing up at the table Sunday for the Joes event or if possible pre registering online or by telephone.
How much will the initial registration cost me minus the options? It looked like there was a one time 2009 registration fee and a seperate tournament fee plus the individual option fees. I know some of the options are for spouses and dads and sons etc. What are the "All In" fees for two fishin buddies entering this tournament for the whole season??
If i can pre pay that amount before Sunday that would help me be a little bit more organized and save me some time.
Thanks; Big Ed!

Membership___________________$35 mandatory
Entry Fee____________________ $100 mandatory
Insurance____________________ $15 mandatory
Event fee_____________________ $5 mandatory
Big Fish______________________ $10 optional
Husband/Wife________________ $10 option
Father/Son or Daughter________ $10 option
Top 3 Teams_________________ $10 option
All American_________________ $10 option
Non Bass option______________ $10 option
Total Paid ______________________________
The total for you two, Ed, would be $150 this includes the mandatory fees, Big fish, Top 3, and the All American options. The $35 for each membership(2) would give a grand total of $225 all in. I highligted what could be included in the "All-In" scenario...minus the husband/wife and father/son or daughter, and the non bass option. So you would need to add them as they apply. But the way some of us team guys act, we could probably enter the husban/wife option too

Thanks DL;
That was a good breakdown. What is the "All American" and how does that work? Im going to send my entry in to Mrs Barron to try and save time from the process. Last questions:
What time do the teams need to be there??
Will it be the main or west entrance??
What time does the fun start??
Is it launch and go?
Later; Big Ed!

Re: Top Stick Joes
Q:What is the "All American" and how does that work?
A: The All American works this way: The director randomly divides the field into 3 seperate groups, a Red, White, and Blue group. The highest finishing team in each group wins the money from the pool of teams that entered that option.
Q: What time do the teams need to be there??
A: The gate will open at 4:00 AM. Teams need to be in the park by 5:00 am. Due to a good response, there is no telling how many teams will be there. By getting everyone in early, we can make sure all teams are signed up and we are on the water when the lifeguards tell us we can go.
Q:Will it be the main or west entrance??
A:Entrance will be the "NEW" gate just before you get to the Main entrance/Main Gate. We will have lights and a banner so you will know where to turn left. We will be taking gate fees and CF numbers at the kiosk inside the park so you wont need to go back to your truck if you dont know the #'s when you sign up.
Q:What time does the fun start??
A:We will launch shortly before the public is let in, and we will go as soon as the lifegaurds tell us to. Most likely a few minutes before 7:00 AM. Weigh in times will be announced at the pretournament meeting, at approximately 6 am(depending on when sign-ups are complete.) We will then do livewell check and wait for the Lifegaurds to give us the ok to Launc.
Q:Is it launch and go?
A: No, the tournament director will launch you in order of boat number after a random draw is done to determine the first boat out. Each team is given a numbered poker chip when they sign up, and then one chip is drawn out of a can to determine the first boat out...
Looking forward to a fun event!!

Tom, just dont stand within a 15 yard radius of Ray. If you must, make sure you have earplugs, I believe JB will be passing them out at TS Joes
