No transducer id tag on cable

I have a gen 3 hds 12 at my console. Is there a way to identify what transducer I have since the little id tag is missing from the cable? My unit isn’t working right at all, but the gps map setting works perfect. The unit is a few years old and worked perfect when it was first installed up front. Then I had it moved to the console as I had a live target unit installed up front. This is frustrating to no end. I have clicked on every transducer type for my unit mentioned on you tube tutorials. Don’t know if its the unit, the transducer or what, grrrrrrr any way, thanks for any good info.
