Need some help!!
Been out of fishing for about 10 years, and getting back at it. Had my entire boat redone, and all I have left to do is install my new trolling motor. I have watched a couple of youtube videos, but seems so much easier if you have 2 people doing it. I just purchased a Motorguide X5 105 36 volt to replce my old Motorguide Tour 80.
Does anyone know if there is someone to install for me in the East Contra Costa County area (Brentwood, Oakley, DB)? Gene at the Hook did the original work back in 2001, so all wiring and such is there and in good condition. Any help here is appreciated

Re: Trolling Motor Installation
With my fortrex it was easy for one guy as you mount the bracket then attach the motor. It does help if you have DIY skills. Also a 2nd person is helpful if the weight is to much to handle by yourself. I had my wife lift just the motor about the 3rd time I put it in place as my back was starting to bark a bit.
