Truck battery?

Post by ScottyJ »

I've been searching through posts on crankning batteries but didn't find anything as to what people reccomend for their trucks. I'm about to replace mine in my Dodge Ram and would like to know what everyone reccomends? Ive heard the Optima color tops aren't doing too well and the new thing is the AGM type. Where is a good place to get them or something comparible? Thankx!

Never had a problem in my Chev diesel with the optima batterys, but I agree with above post. Costco "Kirkland" batteries are hard pressed to beat. Price/exchange, etc. Bill K :)

I'll third the Costco. I'm pretty sure JCI is still making their batts. With the warranty and cost, you can't go wrong.
I had to come back...I know...
