Dobyns, Brown and Sir. Francis Drake. They're all from NorCal, and the same graduating class.

Please listen to Gary all, I've experienced my own situation one time. I know I don't have a big bass boat like most of you with all that horse power, but in my situation in my custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" I was going top speed with my 15 HP 4 stroke and a hit a wake the wrong way when it jack-knifed me around. I wasn't thrown from my boat, but like Gary I slammed into gunwale where I had 5 rods, two were found broken, and my kill switch did its job. I feel very lucky (and thankful the Lord) that I was wearing my life jacket.
