OK all you techies, can you help the old illiterate guy out. After a battle (thanks RMP you tube) with how to download to my micro SD card I went to the boat to do the uploads. I removed the map chip on the console and inserted the card.
Followed RMP instructions and succeeded according to "About". newest version accepted. Now to the forward console where the active target is installed to a dedicated unit. (I should add here I have the 3 in 1 transducer on the ghost). Long story short, success in loading HDS update. So maybe it's too much info, but where the heck do I find (in the units)
the active target software. The unit responded well and there were no more "NO SOURCE" messages, which tells me the update was successful, but where do I find it on my unit. Also where do I find the Ghost? (HDS LIVE 12 x2, and HDS LIVE 9)
Thanks
FE
PS Units were installed when I bought the boat so I don't know what's hooked up to what so I can update.

Ghost would be the only nmea wired to driverside console I beleve, but don't know where to find it on the units to do the update.
Re: Updated units........Now What? Can't find stuff.
If the ghost is wired to the driver console graph then the card needs to be inserted with the ghost update in that graph. Go to your pages and hit storage. The election for ghost should be available. Allen Fong has a good video on updating the ghost that walks you through the process.

Calling all lowrance prostaffers.... time to earn at 40% discount and help a user out. In the meanwhile, search thru various Youtube sites to help get your issues sorted. If that fails, RTFM.
