USAC Pyramid Pro Teams this Sunday 12-5-10

Post by Bill Hutcheson »

Hey guys-

As a reminder, Anglers Choice will be holding the first tournament of the new year in the Southern California Region this Sunday, December 5 at Pyramid Lake. I've been getting a lot of calls and expect a nice turnout so come on out. Some names that haven't fished in quite some time are coming back and that's great!

The lake has been opening at 7am sharp, but the lake always opens the gate at 6:00 for us. I'll be there around 4:30 for sign ups. Remember to arrive a little earlier because you'll need to fill out membership forms as well. With the annual membership comes the best bass magazine to come out of the West, Bass West USA.

I've been receiving several calls regarding what's going to be off limits and what isn't. I'm going to keep it real simple......You can fish the entire marina area provided that you stay 200 feet away from the launch ramp. You can't throw over the buoy line at the marina or any other buoy line in the lake. Also, the dam is entirely off limits. Draw an imaginary line from the little "nub" point aproximately 150 feet off the face of the dam on the freeway side of the dam to the buoy. You can fish that little "nub" point if you like though.

Other than that, first flight will weigh in at 3pm and 3:15 for second. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to call my cell.

Don't forget that any team that qualifies for the TOC at Lake Havasu next September also qualifies for the Clear Lake TOC in October. That's two chances to win a new Legend/Mercury combo!

Thanks and looking forward to seeing you out there!

Well, looks like the weather is going to be nice after all. 50 degrees, partly cloudy with no rain and wind. We got lucky!
