I want to congratulate my wife Marla

For having the fortitude and tenacity to stay married to me for 22 years as of yesterday. She may not be perfect but she's perfect for me. She is the best lady I have ever known.

Well here we go. I agree with John I am the best thing that has ever happened to him. What woman would let him go fishing as often as he does unless she was the best and then and then stay married to him for 22 years.
Let me tell you one thing he is wrong about I am PERFECT.

22 years is a long time. I've been married for 5 and it feels like 22 years. Congrats to you and Marla John.

Dear Marla,

I am sorry to hear about your 22 year sentence, I am certain that no crime deserves such punishment. Thankfully you have worked to make the best of your time by sending John out fishing, tolerating his friend's jokes, drying out his clothes after he returns from another lake diving session, and diligently trying to hide your hysterical laughter when he attempts to convince others of his virility. For your patience, tolerance, good humor and ability to withstand hours of boredom, I believe John should reward his much better half with a two week vacation to any destination of your choosing.

Congratulations John and Marla, this happy union could not have happened to two finer people. God Bless.

You only get 20 years for murder. Marla must have had "special circumstances" tacked on!
