The Future Pro Tour will present its 21st season opener on Saturday, Feb 11th, heading to Lake Berryessa, one of northern California’s most prolific and fertile lakes, located in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley.

The FPT’s "no-fuss" Top-Ten payout matrix installed last year, will again be in effect for the 2023 season, carrying with it - on a 100-boat field, a GUARANTEED cash payout of $5,000 to the winning team on only a $150 per team entry fee – without any options added, with a $325.00 cash payout for the last check paid!
"On-the-Water" seminar for new anglers and Youth
As is an opening day tradition, the FPT will host - on the afternoon before the event, a dynamic “On-the-Water” seminar – presented by River2Sea, for its youth anglers, and for anyone that wants to learn the basics of bass angling.
This seminar starts at 3:00pm on Friday, Feb 10th, and will be hosted by top-level anglers with outstanding knowledge of both bass fishing and the best techniques to catch bass on Lake Berryessa.
Bring your youth – or yourself down to find out “what you don’t know" about Berryessa and remember... youth that register to participate in FPT events are always guaranteed cash payouts, trophies and prizes at EVERY FPT event - with no entry fee required!
Sign-ups for this event will be taken at the ramp, the morning of the event, with limited memberships of just $10, available for those that can only fish a few events, or simply want to “try out” FPT events.
