Local angler who failed polygraph cleared by state board
Ala. —
We have quite a fish tale for you out of Cullman County. A local amateur fisherman's reputation was seriously damaged when he was labeled a cheater in two different fishing tournaments within a year. But now, he is vindicated.
Tyler Wesley loves fishing. He said, “That's just a passion that I've always had, fishing, and it's definitely one of the most fun things I've ever done. I love it.”
But over the last year, that love has soured a bit after many thought he had cheated in two different tournaments. He failed the polygraph tests they required winners to take to ensure fairness. Wesley said, “He told me that I failed. But, I knew there was no reason that I should have failed because I know I broke no rules. I followed the rules to a tee.”
