Water levels

Post by MikeR »

Naci came up almost 8' so far from the latest storm!

Margarita up 6". Not bad considering the amount of water that was absorbed before any run off started. The river runs into it.

Cachuma has risen .35' or 4.2" approximately so far. That's pretty significant considering it's size. The river runs into it and Santa Barbara fired up their desalinization plant a couple of years ago, taking some pressure off of the lake.

Lopez (28.6% capacity) and Casitas (32.5% capacity) are both under same restrictive diversion policies and both appear to be dying a slow death. Lopez came up a bit.... .23' or just at 2.75". Casitas has very poor water level documentation or graphs that display properly.
