Nice.

The sources, who represent creditors to Chrysler, say they were taken aback by the hardball tactics that the Obama administration employed to cajole them into acquiescing to plans to restructure Chrysler. One person described the administration as the most shocking "end justifies the means" group they have ever encountered. Another characterized Obama was "the most dangerous smooth talker on the planet- and I knew Kissinger." Both were voters for Obama in the last election.
I also wonder why the administration won't release the now infamous photos garnered as "Scare Force One" buzzed the NY City skyline? Classified....gee.....why? I thought this administration was all about tranparency? Gee...I wonder who was on board for this idiotic flight around NY?

That's it? So a few Hedge Fund guy's claimed to be treated unfairly boo-hoo. I know a few Hedge Fund managers that should be strung up and hung from lamposts around D.C. for all the world to see. In the end they got what they wanted, no laws were broken. Maybe they're just p.o.ed because they aren't making out like Haliburton and a few hundred other companies. It was heartening to see G.W. has received 100 million for his history re-writing library. As I wrote yesterday my investments are up 17+% since 1/20, after losing 36% in the previous year. Isn't it all about money? Go out and make some, it's a much better climate than it was last year. You could've invested in B of A a month ago and got 4x your money back today.

I really glad you’re making that kind of money – let us know what your taxes will be! Wait I just made 100% on a bet the other day on Pacquiao but it was only a dollar!Dan McKenzie wrote:As I wrote yesterday my investments are up 17+% since 1/20, after losing 36% in the previous year. Marty,
I have no problem paying taxes. Whos going to build the roads, pipe the water, ensure our "safety", pay our military, etc... it's a long list parden me if I don't finish.
If the market has improved due to stimilus efforts, is not Obama in part responsible? I want an up or down vote on that.
There must be a thorn in your foot, you really should get that checked out.

But you're against water boarding terrorists that threaten innocent American lives!Dan McKenzie wrote: . I know a few Hedge Fund managers that should be strung up and hung from lamposts around D.C. for all the world to see.
So, it's fine that Dan makes money on his investments but not anyone else, does Haliburton make too much money for your ideology!Dan McKenzie wrote:

Make too much? I am not opposed to anyone or any company making as much as they can. That in fact is the American way. The dream as it were is there is opportunity for anyone to become financially successful. However Haliburton is an entirely different topic, and I am not personally "against" them, or them making money. I'm not against a full audit of all their no bid contracts either.
