Are any of these Pro's sponcerd by Diawa? Or do they pay full retail for there reels. Kinda like asking a Greek who makes the best Olive Oil......The Greeks do of course, no one else comes close And I'm not even paid to say that

Nice pitch for Daiwa. Kinda suspicious if you ask me. It is not hard to see why and what theses guys fish with. It is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$. I am sure that is why Ike and them fish it. Sure Daiwa stuff is good just like shimano or any other name brand. Money talks and bull^%&$ walks. I do always see Ike in those Viento ads, like he really fishes one???

Swimbait, you hit the nail on the head. Lets face it, most big name pros prostitute themselves for the money or the freebiees. How many times have you heard Bill Dance say "without a doubt, the finest lure I have ever used"? , Roland Martin on the Helicopter lure, Rick Clunn on that device that you can hear the Bass coming after your lure but he wouldn't be caught dead with one in his boat. In my early years of Bass fishing, I spent a ton of money on stuff like this until the bell finally rang in my head. But let's face it, we would probably do the same to some extent if we got paid to say it.
