There are a couple motels in Fresno that might work for you.
There is an Homewood Suites by Hilton.
Here's the info:
6820 North Fresno Street, Fresno, California, United States 93710
Tel: 1-559-440-0801 Fax: 1-559-440-0802

There are also some other Motels in the same vicinity on Fresno Street near Herndon.
These Motels are about 20 minutes from Millerton
Hope this helps,I would also make sure they will accomodate your boat.
May the Fish be with you

I fish millerton a few times a year my family lives down there in clovis. I would definately stay in CLOVIS and not fresno there are a few hotels and motels off herndon and in a good area. Call up Valley Rod and gun merritt or jeff will tell you were is best they know the lake great too. Also PM mark inman he fishes down there and could give you some info.

Good luck that's a fun spotted bass lake !

You mean the G Street Hotels aren't as accommodating as they were 20 years ago?   Better make that from HERNDON north!! Better yet, you might want to actually stay at a campsite at Millerton and sleep with one eye OPEN!!

We are stayin at the Rodeway Inn on Blackstone. Its about 1/2 a block south of Herndon. Its a hop skip and jump away from friant rd. The pictures look a clean place and it has a large open parking lot. We asked for a bottom rm so we can park the boat in front of the door. They have no probs with running an extension cord through the window either. I believe we got it for $70 a night.
