About 2 years ago a guy thats retired and used to manufacture and sell tackle in Northern CA . When he retired he had a full warehouse or two of both saltwater and freshwater tackle. I was going to ebay it all for him. He started me out with lead tackle - spinners and Jigs.
Now the stuff is twenty years old and painted. Not with the current miracle paints and powders but old style paint that flaked off easily. This means I can't sell it for as much as the tackle stores sell theirs. So if I can't get a lot out of it I can't afford to ship it because no-one on ebay wants to buy the 500 jigs it takes to fill a flat rate box. Today I sorted through 223 lbs of the stuff thats been lying on the floor of my office for 2 years.
I found out recently that he just decided to clean up his estate and donated all his tackle to a charitable resale organization. I asked if he wanted me to take this to them too. He said, "No, keep it, and have fun with it."

These are 1/4 spinner baits. I don't know if these are ever used for bass any longer. The lightest I've seen is 3/8. I have pound upon pound of these he never finished before he retired. They just have the straight wire and no spinners. No spinners were provided to put on either.

I have these in several colors, but the paint comes off easily. They are 1/4 or 3/8 football heads and no weed guard. Do people still use this type of Jig?

Unfortunately I don't have to many of these. but they are about 3/8th and in about 3 colors. I'll probably play with these.

I'm going to order some white skirts for these. I couldn't believe how much my buddy got bit on a all white jig in the south end the other day.

This is the most plentiful jig I have. 3/8 OZ. He says they were made for bucktails. After 20 years many were rusted and I disposed of them, but I kept thousands of good ones. I sold some on ebay and after all the charges actually lost money.

These have a golden pearl color but again they are not weedless. They look to be 1/2 OZ

I have a bunch of horsehair 1/2 OZ jigs. Any old timers ever use these?

I don't even know what this is. They are unpainted and I took two blades of another rusty spinner and put them on here. I have a lot of these with no blades. Anyone know what they are?

These went to storage after 4 hours of sorting.
Do you think any jig maker would be interested in buying these for the lead and re-melting? Are any of these worth anything?
