That was one of the most foolish political blunders I have ever seen. Then it was announced on the same day Colin Powell endorced Obama.

The republican party is in pretty sad shape these days.

Last night, right after Obama is declared the winner and the pundits are admitting Palin was a major reason McCain lost, a Republican talking head comes on and states, "Palin signifies a new direction for the Republican party. She may well be our candidate for 2012." For the sake of the Republican party I hope she sits on an antler.
