Hey Mike, I kind of hid it in there-no worries. It's kind of a fishing thing, keep the guy in the back of the boat guessing .
I can bring whatever is needed (except for the dancing girls). I don't think we're gonna need 3 bean type dishes, and if g-man rides with me he's gonna hate me for a long time.

clearly then we've fished together before

Although I am listed as needing to bring food, with all the beans and chili I had better bring some ROLAIDS! HAR HAR ...Really it looks like we need plates, plastic wear, napkins and bowls lots of bowls. I have a couple of 6' tables I'll bring if needed and if I can rent some space on Cooches grill I'll bring some locally famous Parkside sausage.
I look forward to seeing you all there.
If any of you want to check out the Dobyns rods i have a pretty good selection from Jig rods to dropshot , just look me up at the tourney , if you draw me you are welcome to use them. Also after the event if you want to try them out on the water we can go back out after the tourney .

WE WILL HAVE TO BOW OUT. WE HAVE BEEN JUST GETTING OVER THE FLU WHICH BOTH PEGGY AND I HAVE HAD NOW FOR 10 DAYS. SO SORRY TO MISS IT AGAIN THIS YEAR......BUT DOC SUGGESTS NO !!
ok guys, here's the first info on Saturday morning check in
check in starts at 5:15 or so, Guy is planning on being there early to welcome everybody and get the ramp opened up
Boaters: get your boats into the water right away, if you need help splashing your boat ask somebody to give you a hand.
once your boat is splashed head for the slips below the store and get your boat tied up and head up the ramp for the meet and greet on the patio deck with the white picnic tables
Nonboaters - help a boater get into the water if asked, then grab your all your gear and head to area with the picnic tables above the slips and behind the store for a meet and greet.
Everybody: when you get up onto the deck behind the store find Guy and introduce yourself - Guy will have a yellow pad and a pen, write your name down and tear it off and throw it into either the boater or non boater hat.
-- important note: this event is more social than anything else, it's designed to help people meet others on the board and put a name to a face and get you fishing with someone whom you haven't fished with before. I know this is sacrilegious, but the fishing is almost a secondary part of the event. If you really really really *must* fish with your partner then that's not a problem, but please consider getting out of your box and try fishing with someone new, these are all really good people and there are some really good sticks coming - both boaters and non's - and we can all have the opportunity to learn something new from someone we haven't met/fished with before.
with that said, if you have decided to fish with your partner then boater throws their name into the boater hat, and your nonboater does not. when the boater is drawn let Guy know that you are fishing with a partner who is not in the nonboater hat.
draw starts around 6:10-:15 for the first session
shoot the breeze for a few more minutes and then the nonboaters should start dragging their stuff to your draw partners boat.
boats should be warming up by 6:30 and out of the slips heading for the edge of the 5mph zone and prepped for blastoff
look for blast off around 6:40am
Guy will announce the check in time for the first session at the blastoff
Non boaters, it's really good form to bring some money to help offset boater costs, they've hauled a boat from somewhere, gas costs are astronomical as we all know, and fishing these events are always the cheapest ride on the water you'll get. Remember that if you are in the draw then you'll be fishing with 2 different people so keep that in mind when figuring how much cash to bring. There is no hard and fast rule for how much, but your boater will be open to the conversation so be sure to talk with them about it - I've *never* fished backseat and paid an amount I felt uncomfortable with -- in fact I've been pissed sometimes that my boater hasn't taken my money to help cover costs.
K, thats the latest news that's fit to print. I'll be the tall guy with the braces so be sure you come over and introduce yourself if I don't know you, looking fwd to meeting everybody

Just so you know, my boat is UGLY! But what the hell. I do have to check the condition of my son at the end of the day. Running a high feaver right now. I also may be a little late in the morning because I have to wait for Kiva to open and make it up black creek and over to s. shore by boat.
I'll bring something for food.
Will anyone be on shore all day?
Don't be lame. It's just fishing; you are not the new mesiah you know! Check your attitude at the door Mr. Spinners on da boat trailer.
Dave if they have enough boats and you want to go no boat I am staying in Copper ( Bridal Point ) tonight and you need a ride to south shore let me know..Cell # 206-0420...Johnny
