Yamamoto 8" Grub?!

Post by BassManDan »

Well, I don't know if this is going to become a secret bait for me, but since it is pretty much a big fat senko with a twistytail, it seems that this bait will be pretty awesome!

Has anyone used these?! I saw them at Sportsmans and figered I'd give em a shot. They definitely fit the bubba bait category and seems like they would be great for weightless or light weight flippin/pitchin.

If anybody's got anything to say, good or bad, please chime in!

punching bait through the thick stuff during the summer. Caught a lot of fish with it texas rigged with a 1oz sinker pegged down. Lots of smelly jelly, so that it slides through the hole real easy and does not get hung up. Hang on. D.B.COOPER 8)

is a great topwater bait. A little more subtle. Called "burning the worm". D.B.COOPER 8)

Yeah, that would seem akin to the Tiki Snake, just a little less tail!!

Looking to put it to good use on my little lake back home, with probly a 1/4 oz tungsten or a weighted Falcon Hook amd sling it to the pads!!

You will get the tail bit off quite a bit on that little lake back home better off stickin with that black jig. Save the big grubs for night fishing at one of those highland res. just east of home. Ever fish that little lake back home at night  ?
