California Streamflow Projects Funding Granted
The Wildlife Conservation Board (WCB) approved approximately $20 million of Proposition 1 Funds in grants through the Streamflow Enhancement Program. The program awards grant funding on a competitive basis to projects that represent the mission of the WCB and address the three goals of the California Water Action Plan: reliability, restoration and resilience.

Major Water Projects Bill Approved by Congress | American Sportfishing Association
Over the weekend, the U.S. Senate passed a comprehensive maritime infrastructure bill that drew a mixed reaction from the recreational fishing industry. By a 78-21 vote, the Senate passed the “Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (WIIN),” which had been approved by the U.S. House of Representatives earlier last week.

Sportsmen's Act Approved by the U.S. House of Representatives
A package of legislative provisions that will benefit recreational fishing and hunting, and have a positive impact on natural resource conservation, today passed the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 242-161. Passage of H.R. 2406, the Sportsmen's Heritage and Recreational Enhancement (SHARE) Act, represents another major milestone for the recreational fishing community.
