AZGFD ont Luna Lake Water Quality Issues
AZGFD biologists are monitoring water quality at all four lakes in an attempt to identify the causes for the water quality problems. Each of these lakes has periodically suffered from winter or summer fish die-offs as a result of poor water quality, low dissolved oxygen (DO) in the winter or excessively high pH in the summer.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department will host a series of public meetings and a webinar over the next several weeks to review changes that have occurred in the three years since legislation was passed that allowed the department to simplify its hunting and fishing license structure. The meetings will also discuss successes resulting from this license simplification and give the public an opportunity to provide feedback.
