Roumbanis Keeps Rambling On In First At Central Open
Fred Roumbanis of London, Ark., took the lead on Day 2 of the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open #3 held on the Atchafalaya Basin out of Morgan City, La. Roumbanis brought 16 pounds, 6 ounces to the scales at Friday's weigh-in.

B.A.S.S. Central Opens Safe to Return to Atchafalaya Basin
The Atchafalaya Basin was scheduled to host the first event of the Central Opens back in February, but heavy rains, major flooding and unsafe navigational waters in the basin caused the tournament to be postponed until Oct. 27-29. High water levels in the basin remained throughout the spring and summer, but the tournament waters are in “good shape” now, according to Bassmaster Elite Series pro Cliff Crochet.

Mother lode and Central regions of the BBT will be holding its season finishers on the Delta out of Ladds Marina in Stockton Ca. this month on the 25th and 26th. This will be two seperate events with the ML on the Saturday and the CEN on Sunday.

Winona State University Wins FLW College Fishing Central Conference Championship on Carlyle Lake
The Winona State University team of Cade Laufenberg of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and Wyatt Stout of Winona, Minnesota, won the FLW College Fishing Central Conference Championship on Carlyle Lake Sunday with a two-day total of four bass weighing 12 pounds, 6 ounces. The victory earned the club $4,000 and qualified the team for the 2016 FLW College Fishing National Championship.
