Hi All, The 2022 year is quickly coming to an end, and the winter bite will be here shortly. Clear Lake in December is often a time we see some big ones, and I hope this year is no different! As we wrap up this edition of the mag, WesternBass is ramping up for the January 2023 ISE show, and we are very excited to host the bass casting tank again! Hi All, It looks like another tournament season is quickly coming to an end and we are about to launch into year- end championships. It is always exciting to see who comes out on top at the TOCs. Hi All, A trip to ICAST in 2021 was a welcome adventure, after the closure of last year. It was good to see old friends and make new ones. There are some exciting lures and gear coming our way soon! The most exciting for me was the introduction of Uncle Josh Pork, the same we threw back in the 70 and 80’s. Can’t wait to put that on as a trailer. As always, I ask site users and mag readers to support the manufacturers that support WesternBass. They make everything we do possible. We couldn’t do it without them or you! The fall issue always means it’s TOC time! I am looking forward to seeing the 2021 season’s champions crowned! Hoping the water levels hold, so that year-end events can continue as planned and that an early winter arrives bringing much needed rain to the West and to our fisheries! Our thoughts are also with the areas facing the wildfires. It is such a shame to see these tragic situations continue in our beautiful wildlife areas. I am looking forward to the start of the 2021 season anticipating the excitement of tournament competitions as well as fun fishing adventures for the year. We will be watching as the new APEX circuit of Wild West Bass Trail kicks off and cheering on the returning locals, Best bass Tournaments and Future Pro Tour. We welcome the return of the specialty events such as the Snag Proof Open, the BassFest and Rat-L-Trap Open. Hi Anglers Once again, I am putting the finishing touches on the WesternBass.com Magazine wondering where the time has gone. The new season has kicked off for many of our tournament circuits and big bass are already starting to show up. As we’ve seen in the WesternBass. com forums there are already double-digits and even teeners starting to bite. It is always an exciting time of year and we are looking forward to what 2020 will bring. I hope all of you are enjoying our quarterly magazine. Hi Anglers It seems each season when we go to “print”, I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. It is no different with this spring. One third of the year has already passed and I’ve been busy making travel plans for the year’s biggest industry event – ICAST. I’m looking forward to it! With all of the rain, the spring looks like it will bring a helluva fishing season. It is great to see the lakes full and some pictures of some big ones already being shown off. As we know there have been a lot of changes within the industry competition this past year and it is exciting to see how it plays out!
